Operational objectives

Grigiškės Health Care Center is a public health care institution that belongs to the Lithuanian national health system and is established from the assets and funds of Vilnius City Municipality.

An institution is a non-profit public legal entity with limited civil liability with economic, financial, organizational and legal autonomy.

The main field of activity of the institution is to organize and provide patients with qualified outpatient primary and secondary personal health care, inpatient primary personal health care services.

The main goal of the institution's activities is to strengthen the health of the population and improve the health care services provided in order to reduce morbidity and mortality.

Other goals of the institution:
  • To orient the work of the institution to the needs of the patient, to evaluate the results of the provided services.
  • To actively implement preventive health programs, to develop the provision of incentive services to the served population, to promote a healthy lifestyle.
  • To monitor and improve the quality of provided services, to improve the quality management system.
  • Adhere to the principles of medical ethics, ensure the privacy of the patient and the confidentiality of his data.
  • To promote the professional development of employees.
  • Provide employees with decent working conditions.
  • Implement information technology.
  • Rational use of the institution's financial resources, striving for cost optimization.
